Nikita Baynes
Nikita graduated from Southern Cross University with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy in 2025. She has a strong focus on client-centred, evidence-based therapy, tailoring her sessions to ensure a child-led approach.
Nikita believes the best therapeutic outcomes occur when children feel motivated and engaged. She draws on each child’s unique strengths, interests, and abilities to set them up for success. Committed to a holistic model of practice, Nikita implements family-focused strategies that translate to home, play, and learning environments, ensuring supports are in place wherever they are needed.
Health, lifelong learning, and child advocacy are areas Nikita deeply values, and she is grateful to put these passions into practice every day through her work.
During her university studies, Nikita spent five years in a combined Allied Health Assistant/Medical Administration role in paediatric clinics, making her highly familiar with the nuances of this setting.
Her experience spans school readiness and early childhood development, with a focus on motor learning, neurodevelopment, and sensory integration. Nikita has worked with neurodiverse caseloads and continually strives to provide a neuro-affirming therapeutic environment.
Prior to entering healthcare, Nikita spent six years in creative advertising agencies, which translates into an exceptional eye for detail in everything she does.
