NDIS & Medicare in Paddington, Chermside and the Gold Coast

NDIS Provider
Learn and Grow is a registered provider for the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). We are registered to provide services to self-managed and plan-managed clients of all ages, and agency-managed participants over the age of 7 years. If you would like to find out more about the services we provide, please contact our client care team.

If you wish to know more about your eligibility for NDIS funding, you can download an Access Request Form (ARF) and a Supporting Evidence Form (SEF) from the NDIS website. Our Speech Pathologists can support your child’s NDIS application and access to funding by providing comprehensive assessment and reporting for communication and/or feeding difficulties that impact their participation in daily life activities. The following funding options may be available for Speech Pathology and/or Music Therapy services.

Our Speech Pathologists can help with the following areas:

Medicare – Chronic Disease Management Plan

For children and young people who have a “chronic condition” (including communication or feeding difficulties) and who require support from at least two specialist health care professionals. The referral must be made by a GP. Medicare rebate is available for a maximum of five allied health services per patient each calendar year.

Medicare – Allied Health Services for Children of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Descent

Any child aged 0 – 18 years of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent. The referral must be made by a GP. Medicare rebate is available for a maximum of five allied health services per patient each calendar year.

Medicare – Helping Children with Autism

To access this plan your child must have a diagnosis of Autism, or be undergoing assessment to investigate a diagnosis of Autism. Under the Helping Children with Autism program, a child can be referred by a consultant paediatrician or psychiatrist. The plan provides up to twenty treatment services for a child under 15 years of age. The treatment and management plan must be in place before the child’s 13th birthday.
