Ella Thompson, Speech Pathologist

Ella Thompson
Ella is a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist (CPSP) and holds a Bachelor of Speech Pathology (Honours) from the University of Queensland. She supports children and adolescents across a broad range of practice areas, including speech, language, literacy, fluency, and alternative and augmentative communication (AAC).
Ella is trained in the Sounds-Write Synthetic Phonics Literacy Program and the Lidcombe Program for paediatric stuttering. Ella takes a warm, supportive approach and is passionate about helping children develop confident and functional communication skills within their everyday routines. She is committed to delivering family-centred, evidence-based practice and provides therapy that is engaging, supportive, and tailored to the individual needs of each child.
Prior to becoming a Speech Pathologist, Ella worked at Learn and Grow for several years as an Allied Health Assistant. This experience shaped her collaborative approach to therapy and supported her work alongside families and other professionals.
